Just Across the Mackinaw Bridge

Just across the bridge from the Lower Peninsula to Michigan's Upper Peninsula is Castle Rock. This famous landmark has been on post cards since the 1950s and earlier. Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox greet visitors. You can't miss it. If you do, just get back on I-75 going north.

Much to do in this rugged 'God's Country' that still take you back 25 years with it's laid back isolation from the big cities and large crowds.

I really like this spot. It stands out as you drive across the Mackinac Bridge.
