Greenfield Village

A trip to Toronto to pick up two dear Australian people and brought them to Michigan. Last Saturday, we went to Dearborn, Michigan's Greenfield Village. It is totally awesome. We decided to all go to the village, since the weather was wonderful, sunny and not too hot. The museum is very cool, but it is hard to do both in one day.

Make sure you plan one day, minimum when vacationing in Michigan. The Henry Ford, is what Michigan has and is about, regardless of how you feel about Michigan's economy and its auto industry. Be sure to check out this gem, and when you leave for the day, make sure you give yourself a few minutes to check the gift shop, for memorabilia and the selection of books on Henry Ford, Thomas Edison are awesome!
